When styling to stay - A home is a journey, a curation of lifes' memorabilia, a space to feel safe, relaxed and inspired. A place to feel comforted by visual layers of enjoyment. Tastefully displayed personal items, pared back just enough not to feel sparse but homely - comfort and flow are important here. Climate, environment and function are the key for this success.
When styling for sale - A home will be styled to suit the potential target market. the home will be pared back from personal items so that the potential buyer can picture themselves in your home and not concentrate on who is there now. It is a different approach and a carefully curated approach of displaying personal style ( especially if partially styled) while appealing to a maximum audience
